Beachouse Seafood Restaurant

The clients were interested in providing a classy and sophisticated environment to compliment their menu and service.

The design incorporates a heavy timber and rockery feel incorporated with a retro effect in the choice of light fittings and colours. This is all perfectly set in what is easily one of Wollongongs best restaurant locations as the entire room opens up through the perimeter floor to ceiling height glass walls inviting you to look out over North Beach and beyond.

Rather than fill the floor space with tables and chairs which is very common, the clients decided to offer an alternative to their patrons. The introduction of a “Cool Room” to the rear of the restaurant offers a more secluded and private setting for couples looking for their personal space. This room is complimented by a separate and dedicated bar area which is not imposing but very, very inviting.

What sets this project apart from the rest? There is no one key or main feature. Each part of the restaurant compliments the other. From the joinery and fit out, the choice of light fittings and furniture, the exqusutely laid flooring, colours, the view and of course, the rest rooms. This entire project is excellent, front to back and top to bottom.
