The clients came to us with the intention of building a high end, quality inspired show peice for the Corrimal region situated just North of the city of Wollongong. The intention was to offer the local consumers a fit out and appearance that reflected the quality and freshness of the product that would be offered on the shelves. The design and quality of the finish would be a first for the area, for that type of business.

The concept incorporates a heavy timber and marble feel that blends with a stainless steel lining that is also functional at the same time. The signage is bright and contrasting and takes away the need for too much colour in the ceiling and floor. The choice use of mirrors increase the appearance of the size of the retail area.The dark brown seratone bulk head is the centre peice as it sits proudly over the retail point of sale area equipped with the latest electronic register technology.

As with more efficient fit outs of today, this fruit market can cater not only for Fruit and Vegetables but also stocks a range of quality Pastas and Dairy otherwise not available in the area. This aspect of the store takes a different look as it utilises a large full wall red 2 pack laminated finish wall unit that invites the consumer to come and take a look.

Due to the location of the store, situated at the southern entry of Stocklands Corrimal Court, the design utilises display bins which have taken an identical look to the internal fit out. This allows the store to better present itself in the view of the consumers who are passing by.

As opposed to many fit outs, this project does not have one main feature. From inception, the designs catered for all aspects of trade, not only considering the front of house but also the practicality and features of loading, storage and supply.

Timing with this project was of the essence. Whilst various services were able to be completed quickly, most of this project was built by hand utilising our highly dedicated and competent staff. This hand building cannot be hurried and apart from a few hiccups, the store opened to rave reviews on time.

The owners and proprietors of Family Fresh Green Grocers at Stocklands Corrimal came to us with a vision of building a store in their home town that would rival many along the south coast. The negotiations and plans were conducted with absolute professionalism and this is one of the occasions where we can say that as well as conducting the project on behalf of the client, we also managed to establish a true business and professional friendship which makes projects like these all the more worth while.
